Africa
Africa is perhaps Objective's favourite continent. The people are so friendly and there is a huge diversity of cultures and landscapes. Key safety concerns would be:
Road traffic accidents; as a generalisation, we strongly advise against driving or being driven at night.
Disease. Don't get Malaria. Avoid it by covering up (especially at dawn and dusk), using insect repellant, sleeping under mosquito nets and taking the correct prophylaxis. Please remember, if you have flu-like symptoms, assume you have Malaria and go to hospital immediately.
Crime. Avoid being mugged in high threat cities such as Lagos, Nairobi and Johannesburg.

Tanzania | Clubs
Clubs are good but watch out for drinks being spiked - one of us found a pill in the bottom and another was spiked. Also if you are a girl worth going to the loo in pairs as often you get followed to the loo.
